U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin visited the farm on Wednesday, June 24, and recognized the organization for its efforts in regenerative urban farming and food waste reduction in Long Beach. Grow2Zero’s efforts aligned with the federal department’s initiative to reduce food waste and strengthen food security across the nation, called “Feed It Onward,” Zeldin said.
